My passion for helping people attain a healthy body and mind was catalyzed to a greater level when I myself went through a struggling phase of depression and anxiety. It was a baggage that I was carrying with me throughout my adolescence years and was transferred to my adult years as well. In my quest to attain my own optimal mental and physical wellness, I experimented by drastically changing my eating habits and dietary intake.
It was a turning point in my life which helped me overcome various depression and stress related issues. Challenging but doable, my transformational nutrition therapy helped me deal with anxiety in the most effective manner. Even when I was diagnosed with COVID-19, I opted to avoid taking the medication because of its unwanted implications on my body and mind after my release from the hospital.
It was this amazing adopted habit of eating right and eating healthy that kept me healthy and off medications.

Born in Helena, Arkansas but bred in Flint, Michigan, I have a extend background in Nursing as well as Masters Degree and PH.D in Social Sciences and Criminal Justice.
I started my professional journey as a nutrition educator. However, during the course of my studies and working, my interests were further expanded to other allied subjects in human development and psychology. With extensive experience in the practical field, I have been able to earn various recognitions and awards like the Golden Apple Award (2016) and CRIM 2020 Winner of Active and Healthy Leader Award just to name a few.
